The Causes

 car pollution

·        Nitrous oxide, and heat from the sun are being trapped in the atmosphere. Resulting in the temperature on Earth increasing. Many things have caused global warming, from cars on the highway, to oil industries in the south.

·             Many of the causes of global warming have been overlooked for years. Such as certain gases and elements used to make oil. Such as Carbon Dioxide,a harmful gas that can harm the Earth. Study shows that about 33% of U.S carbon dioxide emissions come from the burning of gasoline in internal engines of cars and light trucks. In a Dodge Durango utility truck, driving 12 miles per gallon gives off an estimated 800 pounds of carbon dioxide over a distance of 500 city miles. Also, in 2002 about 40% of U.S. carbon dioxide emissions come from the burning of fossil fuels for the purpose of electric generation. (

·            industry pollution Coal accounts for 93 percent of the emissions from the electric utility industry. According to the UN’s Ingovernmental Panel on climate change shows that 3.5 percent of aircraft operation causes air pollution. They also believe that it would increase to 15% by 2050.  Global warming is when gases such as carbon dioxide, methane, and

·             Even though CO2 is the most common greenhouse gas, Methane is 20 times more effective than Carbon Dioxide. Large electrical industries use methane as their main ingredient to produce electricity. Other ingredients vary from turbine gases to coal.

·             Last but not least, Water vapor. Many scientist think differently on terms when it comes to water vapor. Some say that water vapor has not played a major role in global warming. However, some skeptics argue that water vapor is indeed a greenhouse gas, and have gone as far as saying it is the most important! Water vapor has caused about 5.53% of global warming, and maybe more! Water vapor is water in its gaseous state-instead of liquid or solid (ice).

·             Some scientists say that human activity has played a .28% role in global warming. Some have said 93%, but that really doesn’t matter. Our planet is in trouble, so are all the habitats that live on this planet. Our matter of survival lies on if we take it upon ourselves to solve this global crisis. To also work together on solutions to use renewable natural resources to keep this planet healthy, as well as ourselves.
