final amnesty

This is the second and last opportunity for amnesty this semester. You must complete the assignment to receive any credit.

Use textbook plus at least two more documented sources to create the following:

  1. A PowerPoint explaining the topic in detail in your own words. Do not cut and paste. Do not copy word for word. Let your text guide you. Paraphrase.
  2. A quiz which includes eight multiple choice questions and two discussion questions. The questions must not be ‘what is’ questions.  Give a separate answer key.
  3. A creative product such as a poem, rap, or a creative story that explains the topic and includes the relevant vocabulary with explanation.
  4. Vocabulary diagrams for each of the relevant terms for your topic. On one sheet, include the term, the definition, a sentence using the term, and a colorful diagram related to the term. Do this for each term.
  5. A creative, colorful board game. Use a folder to create the board. Be sure to include any necessary pieces and cards. Type and print the rules and how to play the game.

Due dates

Items #1-3 must be sent to my email by 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 12, 2009. My email address is mssllewis@yahoo.com. Do not bring them Monday on a flash drive or printed. Send them to this email address only, not my school email address. No exceptions. If it is not there by the deadline, I will assume you decided not to do the work.

Items #4 and 5 is due at the beginning of class on Monday, April 13, 2009. Be sure to bring it to class with you. You will not be allowed to turn it in after class or go anywhere to retrieve it.

Assignment must be complete to receive credit. To avoid last minute mishaps, complete work early and send it to me. No excuses will be accepted. This is your last amnesty assignment for this semester.
